Deadpool & Wolverine is a very fun movie. I'm also hapoy to have real 100% Wolverine in a movie finally. I enjoy Logan as its own thing but I think it's a terrible X-Men movie. It basically negated any victory the X-Men had previously and rendered everything moot. I know some people were disappointed by the film's story (or lack thereof) but I argue it had as much of plot as John Wick. I also feel like that criticism kind of misses the point of the movie. Which is really about seeing Deadpool and Wolverine interact in ways both funny and violent. I'm not saying anyone is wrong for not liking it. It's not unreasonable to expect a meaty story or a continuation of the previous Deadpool. I just think it's telling that the movie is called "Deadpool & Wolverine" and not "Deadpool 3." I do wish Cable and Domino would have at least be mentioned 8n terms of where they wete or what they were up to.

It is NOT supposed to be connected to the rest of the DC.

I'm just glad to finally see Gambit in a live-action movie. Really wish they would put him in the X-Men movies that are coming next, but who knows.

i think we will see deadpool and maybe wolverine in the future but i think we will see lara again since people like her as x-23 so why dont they run with the storyline where she is wolverine for our main mcu storyline

I enjoyed that a red head was in a hotel room dressed in Wolverine's outfit. It had me thinking or the love triangle in X-Men 97 and asking"Does Scott know?

Amazing movie!!! I’m glad you got to see it finally. It was a wonderful experience w my kiddos.

The line about how much Chris Evans was eating into the budget was completely overlooked but still super funny.

My biggest gripe was that this Wolverine was the worst one?.. Because he didn't come back when the humans killed the others? The Omega level mutants? I don't get how that falls on him. I was hoping for the beat where Logan kills all the other x-men when manipulated by mysterio or someone.

I loved the members of the Resistance. That line-up, including the deceased, mentioned only members, would make for an insane Savage Avengers roster; Elektra, Blade, Punisher, Daredevil, Human Torch, Gambit, X-23, Wolverine, Deadpool, Magneto, Quicksilver. My only question, and this is probably solved by watching X-Men: Apocalypse (which I never have), but why was Psylocke evil and on Nova's team? She's traditionally a hero.

for me and idk how they did it but the one wolvie i think they absolutely nailed beyond perfection with the hair and energy was the AoA wolvie. it was so perfect it shocked me, and im not a huge AoA wolvie fan.

In Ryan Reynolds we trust, this has always been his baby and he had a vision and if the director doesnt agree with his vision....they are gone! Deadpool 1 Tim Miller Deadpool 2 David Leitch, fired Tim Miller because he wanted to go in a different direction Deadpool 3 Shawn Levy, Ryan loved working with him in Free Guy His gut instincts are serving him well. and I trust in his record.

This movie was great but Endgame was better.

Better than Endgame is debatable as much as I love Deadpool and Wolverine as characters. But of the post endgame movies i’ve seen it’s certainly the best movie since guardians 3 that’s not connected to Spider-Man (Miles or Peter) yet

I'm about 95% certain that Deadpool and Wolverine will be back for Secret Wars, at the latest. I don't think Deadpool was far off the mark when he was telling Hugh that Disney would make him play Wolverine until he's 90. My bit of head canon to apply to this movie is that after Deadpool and Wolverine jumped through the dimensional portal, leaving Blade/Elektra/Gambit/X-23 in that against-all-odds last stand, the rest of the FF and a whole bunch of Fox X-Men rolled up as cavalry. So they all made it, too, and are available for future cameos.

my favorite subtle joke was when deadpool was talking to himself while digging up logan's grave in a forest in the middle of nowhere and he calls it "downtown Minnesota" (or whatever state it was).

Saw a reminder that NSYNC bye bye bye was in X-men 3 in a scene with Wolverine and Deadpool in his sequel thought he should have gotten them instead of Celine Dion 😅 Cut to 2024 and it’s a whole payoff.

I'm not sure if it's better than Endgame but it's absolutely the best Marvel Studio movie since Endgame

Honestly, I would have really liked if the Logan variants were each cameos for different rumoured castings like Cavill like Daniel Radcliffe, Taron Egerton, etc

I loved seeing the Aoa Wolverine and Uncanny issue 251 variants in that whole sequence

There was an acknowledgement to all of the delays to the new Blade movie with "There's only ever gonna be one Blade" line and Deadpool looking into the camera

Because in Logan, Professor X is the one that killed everyone

Watch it again, but this time, look at Wolverine as a younger version of Logan from the Old Man Logan storyline & everything that's said makes alot more sense. Even when his claws don't pop when Wade first finds him at the bar

I want to see it. I will wait until it's on DVD

Great review Amanda and I love this movie it’s really awesome and badass in my opinion.

Finally having watched the entire series.... this was probably the best episode AND THAT SAYS ALOT because this series was a 1,000 out of ten as a whole 🙏🏾🙏🏾. And the emotional aspects between rogue, Gambit, and magneto ALONE is insanely good AND the 4 way relationship between Scott, Logan, Maddie, ahd Jean is so WILD 😂😂😂😂. Even when I knew about Gambit dying WATCHING IT was emotionally epic.

Loved how emotional you got at the 12 minute mark talking about Madelyn because THESE EPISODES hit emotionally. The stakes were so high in every episode.
